🌟 Obstetrics Registered Nurse (OB RN) – Night Shift | Travel Contract

🏥 Specialty: Obstetrics / Labor & Delivery / Postpartum
✅ Position Highlights
Provide compassionate nursing care to mothers during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being and assist with fetal monitoring and medication administration.
Provide newborn assessments and educate families on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn health.
Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals.
Float to Med/Surg: When the OB unit has no active patients, the RN will be assigned a Med/Surg patient load.
May assist with adult medical-surgical care, including IV therapy, wound care, medication administration, and post-operative recovery.
📋 Requirements
Minimum 3+ year of obstetric nursing experience required
Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
Active Idaho RN License or approved Compact State License required
BLS certification required upon hire
NRP certification required upon hire
AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring required upon hire
PALS required upon hire or within 1 year of employment
Experience in maternal/fetal assessment, newborn assessment, and postpartum care.
⚠️ Important Assignment Details
120-mile radius rule: Candidates residing within 120 miles are not eligible.
Up to 36 hours of call-off per 13-week assignment.
Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts as needed.
