Job Description
The Rowley Family Birthing Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery. In this role, you will provide care for mothers and newborns in a modern, state-of-the-art facility dedicated to ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Our goal is to exceed the expectations of families during this special time, offering them a space that prioritizes comfort, privacy, and quality care.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during labor and delivery.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document care accurately using the EPIC charting system.
- Assist in the management of the birthing process, including caesarean deliveries when necessary.
Required Experience
Experience in a Labor and Delivery setting is preferred, with a focus on quality patient care.
Certifications/Licensure
- ACLS certification
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification
- BLS certification
- NRP certification upon hire
- Current RN license in the state of New York
