### Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery! - **Shift Hours/Contract Length**: - 7a-7p, alternating 7p-7a; 13 weeks - **Weekend Requirement**: - Every Other Weekend - **On Call Requirement**: - None - **Charting**: - EPIC experience required; Non-Epic-CPN/GE Centricity - **RTO, Block & Special Scheduling Requests**: - Must submit requests upon submission - **Call Off Policy**: - The client may cancel (call off) up to three shifts during a 13-week contract period without incurring charges for the canceled hours. - **Holiday Requirement**: - Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed - **Accept First-Time Travelers**: - Yes - **Locals Accepted? Radius Rule**: - RNs within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted. Locals accepted for LPNs **Required License and Certifications** - **Pending License Accepted**: - No, must have an active New York Single State RN or LPN license. (NY is not Compact) - **Required Certifications**: - OB-ACLS or ACLS, BLS, EFM certification, NRP **Required Clinical Skills** - Assist with vaginal delivery - Circulate for C-section - Recover C-Section - Magnesium Sulfate therapy - Pitocin (oxytocin, Terbutaline) - APGAR scores - Baby Nurse (“Baby Catcher”) - ID/Security Banding - Radiant Warmers/Thermoregulation - Foley catheter insertion/management - Fundus/lochia/perineum care - Post Partum Hemorrhage - Pregnancy induced hypertension - NST (Non Stress Tests) - Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring) - Use of IUPC (Intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration **Unit Details and Floating** - Unit Details: All pregnant patients at any gestational age accepted by the provider team are cared for. - Triage evaluates all pregnant patients at any gestational age and all postpartum patients within 6 weeks of delivery. - GE Fetal & Telemetry Monitors; "Monica" wireless fetal monitoring; Neopuff; Draeger newborn warmers - Floating: Will be required to float within skill set - Scrub Color: Hospital Provided **Hospital Highlights** - 528-bed acute care teaching facility - Magnet-recognized and certified as an Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center - Affiliated with Cleveland Clinic and Roswell Park - Specialized services offered - Labor & Delivery (Twig Birthing Center) features private birthing suites, on-unit ORs, advanced monitoring, and both OB and midwifery care - Baby-Friendly unit supports family-centered births, lactation, hydrotherapy, and postpartum services - Rated “High Performing” for maternity outcomes --- **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol)**: At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
