TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum for a travel nursing job in Salem, Massachusetts.

Submission Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN License required.
- temporary/conditional licenses may currently be considered.
- Required certifications:
- BLS
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
- ACLS preferred.

- 25-bed Women's Services Unit
- Includes:
- Labor & Delivery
- Postpartum
- Newborn Nursery
- 2 Operating Rooms
- 2 Antepartum Rooms
- Recovery Room
Patient Population
Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Antepartum, and Newborn patients.
Average Census
- 15-25 mothers, babies, and laboring patients daily
Bed Configuration
- 5 Labor/Delivery/Recovery (LDR) Rooms
- 12 Postpartum Beds
- 2 Operating Rooms
- Recovery Room
- 2 Antepartum Rooms with 4 beds
Required Skills
Candidates must be proficient in:
- Labor & Delivery
- Postpartum Care
- Newborn Care
- C-Section Circulating
Patient Ratios
Following unit staffing guidelines:
- Labor Evaluations: 1:2-3
- Active Labor: 1:1
- Epidural Patients: 1:1
- Magnesium Infusions: 1:1
- Postpartum: 1:3-4

- Evening and Night shifts are typically straight shifts.
- Day shift staff may rotate to evenings and/or nights.
