Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Obstetrics – St Francis, KS 67756
Start Date: November 16, 2026
Location: Northwestern Kansas, near the Nebraska and Colorado borders
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 guaranteed hours per week. Flexible 6 on/8 off scheduling available upon request. OB call schedule participation as assigned. Cross-coverage for Med/Surg or Emergency Department as needed.

- Participate in OB drills, simulations, and ongoing competency validation in a supportive team environment
Requirements:
- Current Kansas RN license or ability to obtain
- Obstetrics nursing certification and experience
- Advanced clinical skills in fetal heart rate monitoring, labor management, and maternal/newborn assessment
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to recognize and respond to obstetric emergencies including shoulder dystocia, fetal distress, and postpartum hemorrhage
- Experience with oxytocin, magnesium sulfate administration, and obstetric protocols
- Strong assessment capabilities and ability to work independently in a rural hospital setting
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift/move patients per safe handling policies, and respond rapidly to emergencies
