Job Details

• Position: Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse Job
• Location: Loveland, Colorado
• Healthcare Setting: Women’s Care / Labor & Delivery Unit
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Schedule: 36 hours per week; typically 3 shifts per week
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend, based on unit needs
• Call Requirement: 1 shift every 6 weeks
• Charting System: Epic preferred
• Orientation: 20 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,180-$2,290

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate required
• ACLS and STABLE preferred/required based on unit needs
• Experience with Epic electronic medical record system preferred
• Strong experience supporting labor, postpartum, couplet care, and newborn care
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented women’s health environment
• Ability to float to like units within the Women and Infants service line as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients
• Monitor fetal status and respond to changes in maternal or newborn condition
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and high-risk deliveries
• Support antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and couplet care across the care continuum
• Perform assessments, interventions, and patient education throughout each shift
• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapy, IV teams, and interdisciplinary healthcare partners
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical protocols
• Participate in on-call coverage and unit-based scheduling requirements
