# Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Texas**Start Date:** November 2, 2026 **Location:** McAllen, Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Rotating weekends; 12-hour shifts (day and night available)**Highlights:**- Work in a busy Labor & Delivery unit with 14 labor beds, 2 operating rooms, 6 recovery bays, and 8 antepartum beds- Comprehensive patient care including labor management, cesarean sections, vaginal deliveries, and postpartum support- Patient ratios of 1:2 for labor and 1:4 for antepartum- Utilize GE EFM and CPN equipment with Meditech/Centricity Perinatal EMR system- Collaborate with a dedicated team of approximately 40 staff members in a supportive, positive environment- Opportunity to float to antepartum and postpartum units for diverse clinical experience**Requirements:**- Current Texas RN license or compact state license with ability to obtain Texas licensure- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required- Intermittent Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification required- Strong labor management skills with experience in vaginal deliveries- Proficiency in cesarean section care, D&C procedures, and management of uterine tamponade devices- Experience with Magnesium and Pitocin drip administration and titration- Ability to circulate in Labor & Delivery operating rooms preferred**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**This position offers the chance to provide compassionate, high-quality care to mothers and newborns in a well-equipped, supportive environment.
