Prodware Solutions LLC is seeking a travel Labor and Delivery Charge Nurse (RN) for a travel nursing job in Anchorage, Alaska.

Seeking an experienced L&D Charge RN to lead shifts and provide care in a high-risk Labor & Delivery unit.
- Contract: 13 or 26 weeks | ASAP start
- Schedule: 3×12 or 4×12 nights; every other weekend; no on-call
- Experience: Minimum 2 year; prior charge nurse experience required. First-time travelers welcome.
- License: Alaska RN license required in hand for Auto Offer
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced
- Additional details: Epic charting; may float to similar units within scope. Scrubs provided and free parking.
- Eligibility: Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead shifts in high-risk L&D unit, coordinating staffing, patient assignments, and workflow.
- Provide care for laboring patients, inductions, and high-risk antepartum patients, including maternal and fetal monitoring.
- Coordinate admissions and patient flow across OB triage, labor and delivery, operating rooms, and recovery areas.
- Recognize obstetric emergencies and collaborate with obstetric, anesthesia, and neonatal teams to deliver timely care.
- Support bedside nurses with clinical guidance, prioritization, and escalation of patient concerns.
- Promote patient safety, clear communication, and compassionate, family-centered care.
- Maintain accurate Epic documentation, thorough shift handoffs, and patient education throughout the delivery experience.
