Job Breakdown – Labor & Delivery RN
- Position: Labor & Delivery RN
- Facility: Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center
- Location: Thousand Oaks, CA
- Schedule: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, 12-hour days
- Guaranteed: 36 hours/week
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Unit: L&D – 9 LDRs + 4 triage/testing beds
- EMR: CPN/Meditech
- Scrubs: Navy
- Float: Mother Baby
Must-Have Requirements
- Active California RN license
- 2+ years L&D experience
- BLS, ACLS & NRP
- Fetal monitoring
- Vaginal exam experience – MUST
- C-section circulating experience – MUST
- Post-C-section recovery
- Laboring patient care, including vaginal delivery and C-section
- High-risk antepartum care
- OB emergencies, including OB hemorrhage
- Newborn care during the first hour of life
- Breastfeeding/initial latch support
- Strong critical-thinking and customer-service skills
Preferred
- Scrub experience
- NCC certification in Inpatient OB or EFM
- Experience with NST, CST, BPP, OB triage/OBED, MSE, versions and cervical cerclage
