Schedule: Day and night shifts available; 1-2 on-call shifts per schedule; Patient ratios follow AWHONN guidelines (1:1 for Pitocin, C-section delivery, recovery; 2-3 antepartum patients)Highlights:- 18-bed Labor & Delivery unit with a collaborative team of 54 staff members- Comprehensive case mix including vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, triage, and iron infusions- GE fetal monitoring equipment and CPN Meditech EMR system- Minimal floating required (primarily to Mother Baby unit when needed)- Supportive work culture focused on excellence in patient care and team collaboration- Multiple positions available for experienced L&D nursesRequirements:- Active Texas RN license or compact state license- Essential skills: Labor management and circulating cesarean sections (candidates without these skills will not be considered)- Current BLS and NRP certifications- AWHONN intermediate fetal monitoring certification preferred- Strong interpersonal skills and team-oriented mindsetWhy It's a Great Opportunity:Join a dedicated team that values compassion, clinical excellence, and positive workplace culture.
