Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years IR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a specialized nursing position within Interventional Radiology, where your expertise as a Registered Nurse directly supports advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures.
- Monitor patient status and vital signs, ensuring safety and comfort throughout procedures.
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields, assist with instrumentation, and coordinate imaging support.
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and anesthesia teams for seamless, efficient workflow.
- Administer sedation and medications according to protocol and physician orders.
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures, post-procedure care, and discharge instructions.
- Document all care accurately in accordance with policy and regulatory guidelines.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, demonstrating confidence in a fast-paced procedural environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse license (unencumbered)
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in Interventional Radiology or a high-acuity procedural setting
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
- Strong knowledge of radiology equipment, sterile technique, and sedation protocols
- Excellent communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing procedure schedules and varying patient needs

$2,783 - $2,944/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
