Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years IR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Advance your nursing career with a specialized opportunity focused on Interventional Radiology. This contract position spans 13 weeks and offers the chance to work alongside a dedicated radiology team, supporting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures that make a real difference in patient care.
Schedule:
- 5 x 8-hour day shifts, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
- Call required approximately every 5 weeks, including an evening during the week (subject to change based on staffing needs)
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license for Rhode Island
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years’ nursing experience
- Prior Interventional Radiology RN experience preferred
- Neuro experience not required
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
- Adaptability and confidence in fast-paced environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
- Monitor and assess patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure, ensuring safety and comfort
- Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and other healthcare professionals
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields, support moderate sedation, and circulate during procedures
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and emergencies while on duty or on call
- Educate patients and families on procedure details, care instructions, and follow-up

$2,783 - $2,944/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
