Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Interventional Radiology. The position supports radiology nursing and interventional procedures in an acute care setting, with responsibilities involving critical care patients, moderate sedation, anesthesia care, and outpatient services. The role requires flexibility for rotating schedules and call coverage.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience; active nursing license; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications.
- Schedule: Rotating schedule with variable four 10-hour shifts, including 7:00 a.m.5:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m.6:00 p.m. shifts, totaling 40 hours per week; seven-day call coverage per rotation is required.
- Additional Information: Provides nursing care for interventional radiology and procedural services, including computed tomography scans, interventional medicine, moderate sedation, pick-line procedures, and anesthesia care. The role supports outpatient procedures and accepts patients as needed in a fast-paced environment. Critical care experience in an intensive care unit or emergency room may be considered for candidates without radiology nursing experience.
