Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in the Rehabilitation unit in Madison, WI. As a Travel RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to adults requiring inpatient rehabilitation services. Your experience in Med-Surg or inpatient rehab will be invaluable as you work alongside a dedicated team to help patients achieve their highest level of recovery.
Position Information:
- Role: RN
- Specialty: Inpatient Rehab
- Weekend Hours: every other weekend and holiday rotations
- Call Requirements: yes
- Required Certifications: BLS
- Years of Experience: 1+ year of nursing experience in skilled nursing or other 24/7 skilled care environment
- Preferred: Med-Surg or inpatient rehabilitation experience related to patient acuity
- Float Requirements: No, not currently. May be required to float to a satellite IRF facility within 20 mins in the near future.
- Attendance Policy: All agency staff will adhere to our internal attendance and tardy policy.
- Scheduling and Time Keeping: 30-minute breaks are mandatory unless approved by the supervisor. Staff must clock out for 30 minutes each shift and will have (2) 15-minute paid breaks for a 12-hour shift.
- Patient Ratios: 1:7
- Equipment: Mobility equipment including ceiling lifts, Sara Stedy and Sara Plus, slide boards, vital machines, EKG machine, BGM, computers for charting.
- EHR: EPIC
- Patient Population: Adults requiring inpatient rehabilitation services with high acuity needs.
