Job Summary
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) position supporting neuro and vascular patients in an intermediate care setting. The role requires strong neurological clinical experience and Level 1 trauma experience, with care delivered during day shifts in a high-acuity environment.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Level 1 trauma experience
- Additional Information:
- Provides care for neuro and vascular patients in an intermediate care unit.
- The patient population includes lower-acuity neuro-spine patients and vascular patients.
- The unit has a target staffing ratio of 3:1, with some 4:1 staffing at night.
- Strong neurological clinical experience is required; telemetry-only experience or experience limited to higher patient ratios does not meet the stated requirements.
