Assignment Overview
Join our Critical Care team as a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in ICU care. This role is ideal for highly skilled nurses capable of managing acute patient needs in an ICU setting. The successful candidate will have experience with respiratory failure, post-surgical care, wound care, IV antibiotics, and post-trauma recovery.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Acute
- Charting System: EPIC
- Shift: 12-hour Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend and holiday rotation
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2876.4 (negotiable)
Responsibilities
- Provide primary care in the ICU
- Manage PEG tube care/feedings, CVC/PICC/Midline usage and care
- Care for sedated, ventilated patients
- Titrate vasopressors, sedation, and pain control drips
- Use and troubleshoot ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow equipment
- Monitor Phillips telemetry centrally in the ICU
Qualifications
Required:
- Active IL RN license or proof of application process
- ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA)
- Experience with titrable drips
- Experience in PEG tube care/feedings, and CVC/PICC/Midline care
- Ability to work with tracheostomy patients
- Understanding of sedation and pain control drips management
- Negative drug screen result
