Position: ICU RN (Level 2)
Schedule: Variable 12-hour days and nights, 7:00 AM-7:00 PM and 7:00 PM-7:00 AM, 36 hours a week; full-time days, nights, weekends and holidays
Experience: 2 years
Required: Current NYS RN license; BLS, ACLS and PALS through the RQI system during clinical orientation (AHA or RQI only) and NIHSS; Basic Coronary Care within 6 months and CPI certification within 90 days of hire
Preferred: Emergency Nurses Association certification and TNCC, both recommended within 2 years of hire; Microsoft Office and electronic medical record experience
Duties: Provide critical care appropriate to the age of the patients on the unit, applying knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan; handle confidential information with discretion, manage multiple priorities to deadline and model effective teamwork
