Join a leading acute-care hospital as an ICU Registered Nurse in Saratoga Springs, NY. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while providing critical care to patients in the ICU. We are looking for dedicated professionals with a passion for nursing and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the ICU.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing care plans as necessary.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Epic charting.
Requirements:
- Must have 3 years of current ICU experience.
- New York State License in hand.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required.
- Ability to read rhythms and pass a hospital proctored test with >80% accuracy in rhythm identification and 100% accuracy in identifying critical rhythms.
- Willingness to float within skill set at manager's discretion.
Local Rule: Candidates must reside outside of a 50-mile radius from Saratoga Springs, NY. This includes counties such as Warren, Washington, Fulton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Albany, Columbia, Greene, Dutchess, and Ulster.
