Job Opportunity – Medical ICU Registered Nurse – Ohio
Start Date: November 20, 2026
Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM. Holiday rotation required (at least every other holiday).
Highlights:
- Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) position in a major healthcare system
- Night shift schedule with 12.5-hour shifts
- Pre-orientation modules required; average 6-15 hours (4 hours billable)
- ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation
- Extension opportunities available for up to 18 months
- Comprehensive orientation provided to ensure clinical readiness
Requirements:
- Active Ohio RN license or Compact State license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Minimum 12 months permanent experience in Medical ICU specialty
- Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
- Professional reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in MICU specialty from within the past 12 months
- Negative drug screen within 12 months of start date (10-panel)
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
