Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurses are sought for a rotating shift assignment in a community hospital located between Denver and Grand Junction on the I-70 Corridor. The role involves providing specialized care in a Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) with additional coverage in the Coronary Care Unit (CCU). The position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within the community while working in a smaller, independent facility committed to patient-centered care.

Job Details:

  • Shift: 12-hour nights, including weekend rotation; must participate in call rotation and take one call shift per two-week period in place of guaranteed hours, if staffing needs arise.
  • Required Qualifications: Colorado RN license in good standing; BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association; strong CVICU skills with Day 0 CVICU experience; minimum 3 years of critical care nursing experience; ability to work rotating shifts as specified; out-of-state candidates must meet RADIUS RULE of at least 75 miles from the facility.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience covering CCU and CVICU with strong cardiac monitoring skills.
  • Additional Information: Traveler's permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility. Flu vaccination is mandatory from October 1st through April, with no declinations accepted. Candidates must provide a resume, RN license, proof of flu vaccine, and relevant certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS) including skills sheets. Out-of-state agencies should register in the Colorado system and specify their location accordingly.
  • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 09/29/2026 to 12/29/2026.
