Job Description
The Registered Nurse will be primarily responsible for conducting stress tests in the Stress Lab and administering stress testing medications to patients. This role requires strong clinical skills in tele cardiac or ICU nursing, with a focus on patient monitoring during stress testing procedures.
Responsibilities
- Conduct stress tests on patients, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Administer stress testing medications and closely monitor patient responses.
- Perform intravenous (IV) starts as needed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to interpret telemetrics and provide assessments.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and test results.
Required Experience
- Current RN license and ACLS/BLS certification.
- Experience in stress testing, strong tele cardiac skills, or ICU nursing experience.
- Proven ability to start IVs effectively.
Certifications/Licensure
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
