Job Summary:
The healthcare professional specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in a night shift position will provide critical care to patients in a 21-bed unit. This role involves working with adult patients experiencing conditions such as ARDS, pneumonia, withdrawal, and cardiogenic shock, and requires flexibility to meet staffing needs.
Job Details:
- Position Type: ICU Nurse Night shift (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.), 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Two or more years of clinical experience, prior travel experience, TN license or compact license on file at the time of submission, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications, and at least a 12-hour shift schedule.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous ICU experience, experience with adult patient populations, and familiarity with Cerner electronic medical records system.
- Additional Information: The unit has a patient population of 18+, with cases including ARDS, pneumonia, withdrawal, and cardiogenic shock. The schedule is determined by the units needs, and staff may float to step-down or emergency departments as needed. Scrubs required: Navy.
