Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week; holidays and every other weekend are required.
- Required Qualifications: Associate degree in nursing; Registered Nurse license in Alabama or a compact-state license; American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS); required American Heart Association and/or Red Cross certification as specified; two years of recent cardiovascular intensive care experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification for assignments involving pediatric patients.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information:
- Provides care in cardiac surgical intensive care and stepdown settings.
- Supports patients recovering from cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery.
- Performs and monitors complex invasive hemodynamic care.
- Must be willing to float to other units and facilities.
- Solid navy attire is required.
