NURSE's Etc. Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Waterloo, Iowa.

Requirements:

Minimum 24 months of experience in PCU, Stepdown, Med Surg, Telemetry, or related units.

Must be willing to float across Med Surg, BH, ED, ICU, and post-procedural areas. No designated home unit.

First-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years of nursing experience.

Must have experience with heparin, insulin, Lasix, amiodarone, diltiazem, and digoxin drips.

Must be confident in reading EKG/ECG and performing telemetry duties.

EPIC experience required.

Must pass Basic Dysrhythmia Assessment (80% minimum).

Must live at least 50 miles from the facility (based on driver's license).

Additional Requirements:

Must work 1–2 of the 3 upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed.

De-escalation certification (CPI, MAB, MOAB, or SAMA) preferred.

NIH Stroke Scale certification is a plus (can be obtained during onboarding).
