Shift and Contract Details
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Night Shift)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Charting System: EPIC experience required
- First-Time Travelers: Accepted
Floating: Required within the nurse’s skill set
License and Required Certifications
- Active New York (NY) Single-State RN License required.
- Pending licenses are not accepted.
- New York is not a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
- Current certifications required:
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS — a valid certification must be included with the submission.
Required Clinical Skills - Candidates must have experience in the following areas:
- IV Therapy: Blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy, starting and maintaining IVs, and IV vasopressors.
- Respiratory Care: CPAP/BiPAP and ventilator management.
- Neurological Care: CVA (stroke), neuro-trauma, spinal cord injuries, and traumatic brain injury (TBI).
- Cardiac Care: Cardiac monitoring, interpretation, and management of dysrhythmias.
- Emergency Care: Adult and pediatric emergency department care, gunshot wounds, and orthopedic trauma.
- Additional Skills: Isolation precautions, triage, and pediatric spinal cord injury care.
