Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in an acute care setting.
- Utilize EPIC for patient documentation and management.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in patient and family education regarding healthcare processes and conditions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience: Acute care facility experience preferred.
- Licenses and Certifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) certification is required.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is required.
Work Schedule
This position offers day shifts with variable hours, either 36 or 48 hours per week.
