• Patient Volume: High-volume ED environment with approximately 120 daily visits
• Patient Ratio: 1:4-6

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of recent emergency department or emergency room nursing experience
• At least 1 completed travel nursing assignment required
• Experience with adult and pediatric emergency care
• Cerner charting experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• Additional preferred certification: TNCC
• Ability to work effectively in a community hospital setting
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across all age groups
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical need
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency interventions as needed
• Monitor and manage patients with a wide range of emergency conditions and injuries
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support safe, timely care
• Document accurately in Cerner and maintain clear communication throughout the shift
• Respond confidently to changing patient conditions and emergent situations
• Support a positive patient experience while maintaining efficiency in a busy ED
