Patient Ratio: 1:4–5
Patient Population: Neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics
ED Experience: Adult Pediatric required
Trauma: Seeking Trauma IV designation
Stroke: Primary Stroke Center
Weekend: Every other weekend
Local Rule: No local travelers within 50 miles
First-time Travelers: Accepted
Scrubs: Navy
Medication System: Pyxis
Required Certifications
- BLS/BCLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NIHSS
- TNCC
Required Skills
Dysrhythmias, blood products, central lines, IV starts, phlebotomy, IV sedation, vasopressors, procedural sedation, CVA/stroke, neuro trauma, TBI, ortho trauma, head injuries, CPAP/BiPAP, ABGs, ventilated patients, GSWs, isolation precautions, and triage.
