As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will provide critical care to patients in need, making a significant impact on their lives. Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Administer medications and perform necessary medical procedures.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Float to different areas within the ED to manage overflow/surge patients.
- Maintain accurate documentation using the Epic charting system.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of telemetry experience required.
- Must hold a valid MA RN license.
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
- Experience with chest tubes, dysrhythmia management, and phlebotomy preferred.
- Ability to work every other weekend and holidays as needed.
- Flexibility with shift start times to meet department needs.
- Must be able to pass a telemetry and medication exam during orientation.
