Job Opportunity – Endoscopy Registered Nurse – Western North Carolina
Start Date: October 9, 2026
Location: Western North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Variable shifts based on procedure volume. Includes 2 weekend 24-hour call shifts per 6-week period and 1 night call per week. This position does not routinely accommodate block scheduling for extended time off.
Highlights:
- Work in a high-acuity endoscopy department with 9 pre-op bays, 4 procedure rooms, and 6 PACU bays
- Perform a diverse case mix including EBUS, bronchoscopy, ION procedures, EGD, colonoscopy, EUS, and ERCP
- Utilize advanced technology including Olympus scopes and processors, ION navigation, and ERBE equipment
- Work with Cerner and Provation EMR systems in a collaborative team environment
- Join a Magnet-designated facility recognized nationally for clinical excellence and patient safety
- Surgical scrubs provided
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of in-hospital endoscopy experience required
- Active RN license in North Carolina (or ability to obtain)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Scheduling flexibility required
- Pulmonary procedural experience preferred
- Previous experience in PACU, Pre-Op, or OR is a plus for potential floating opportunities
