Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse (ER) Night Shift Location: Rochester, NY. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care to adult and geriatric patients in a state-of-the-art, 24/7 emergency department. The role requires rapid response and clinical skills in trauma, stroke, neuro-trauma, and adult emergency cases.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 48 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Active New York Single State Registered Nurse license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC certifications, and at least 1 year of clinical experience in emergency or acute care settings.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC charting system, handling emergency diagnoses such as CVA, neuro-trauma, spinal cord injury, and adult trauma cases.
- Responsibilities: Providing emergency medical care, managing adult and geriatric patients with various critical conditions including trauma, stroke, and neuro-injuries, utilizing advanced diagnostic and treatment equipment such as ventilators, central lines, and blood products.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC.
- Schedule Details: Night shift, 12 hours, with a minimum of 48 hours weekly.
- Additional Information: Candidates will be required to float within their skill set and must submit special scheduling requests upon application. Prior EPIC experience is required, and the candidate must have a minimum of 1-year clinical emergency experience.
