- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Acute care facility experience is preferred.
Licenses/Certifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per policy is required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor per policy is required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from an approved vendor per policy is required.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification is required.
Role Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will deliver patient care in acute settings, ensuring the highest quality of care standards. Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, collaborating with healthcare teams, and providing support to patients and their families. The RN will participate in ongoing education and training to maintain proficiency in advanced life support measures.
Qualifications
Candidates must possess the required licenses and certifications and demonstrate a commitment to professional development and excellence in patient care. Experience in an acute care facility is preferred but not mandatory for applicants demonstrating strong foundational nursing skills.
