Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Ottumwa, Iowa. This position offers an opportunity to provide critical care to primarily adult and geriatric patient populations within a regional health center. The role involves working day shifts with a 12-hour schedule, supporting a busy emergency department environment.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, TNCC; Education Requirements: Must have at least 1 year of experience in an acute care facility; Location Requirement: Candidates must be at least 60 miles from the facility; Experience Requirement: 1-2 years in an acute care facility; Schedule: Day shift from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Additional clinical responsibilities include managing adult and geriatric patients, covering a 24/7 call schedule, and working within a facility that includes services such as ED, Critical Care, Med/Surg, and others.
- All onboarding requirements must be met, including Iowa SING background check, Child and Adult Mandatory Reporter Certifications, drug testing, titers, and state-specific background checks.
- Candidates should have experience working in a similar size emergency department and be flexible for travel and shift coverage needs.
