Registered Nurse (RN)
Position Overview
We are seeking qualified Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team. The unit is a nationally accredited Primary Stroke Center, and a crucial element of our healthcare services.
Emergency Room Statistics
During the last fiscal year, the Emergency Room experienced a total of 24,872 visits, indicating a high volume of patient care and requiring efficient and skilled staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide quality nursing care to patients in emergency situations.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) system for documentation and patient management.
- Participate in ongoing education and training, including obtaining PALS certification.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures, including supply management.
Qualifications
- Valid RN license and applicable certifications.
- Proficient in the use of Meditech EMR.
- Current PALS certification is required for this role.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced emergency care environment.
