Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a combined Emergency Room and Med Surg setting
- Manage an average patient census of 5 patients per shift alongside one additional RN
- Assess, monitor, and respond to a variety of emergency and medical-surgical patient needs during night shift hours
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes across both service areas
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an Emergency Room or Med Surg setting
- Comfort working in a small, rural hospital environment with a broad patient population
