Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in the Emergency Department (ER) in Weatherford, TX. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced RNs looking to make a difference in a fast-paced environment. Unit Highlights:
- Unit: Emergency Department (ER)
- Number of Beds: 23
- Patient Ratios: 4:1
- Unit Staffing: All RNs, Techs at lobby and secretary
- Type of Equipment: Standard ED
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Floating Policy: As needed
Hiring Profile:
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS
- Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Meditech preferred
Procedures Performed on Unit:
- Standard ED procedures
- Level IV trauma
- Primary stroke center
- Chest Pain Accredited with PCI (STEMI 24/7)
Dress Code:
- Scrub Color: Royal Blue
- Nail Policy: Clean and healthy; no artificial nails, gel, or next-gen nails
- Hair: Neat and clean; no extreme styles or colors; must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer
- Tattoos: Should be covered whenever possible
- Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
- Shoes: Must be constructed of non-absorbent material with slip-resistant soles; breathable mesh athletic shoes are not permitted
