We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (CVOR RN) to join an established and growing Hybrid Cath Lab at a smaller hospital in Colorado. This specialized position involves providing nursing care to cardiovascular patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
The ideal candidate must be experienced in both scrubbing and circulating CVOR cases. This opportunity offers the chance to work with advanced cardiovascular technology in a specialized Hybrid Cath Lab environment. This is not a general Operating Room position.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to cardiovascular patients throughout the surgical experience.
- Perform both scrub and circulating duties during cardiovascular procedures.
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field, instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Assist the surgical team by anticipating procedural needs and maintaining patient safety.
- Coordinate care, document procedures, and monitor patients throughout the intraoperative period.
- Follow established infection prevention, sterile technique, and patient safety protocols.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the cardiovascular care team.
Required Qualifications
- Current Colorado RN license or compact multistate RN license valid in Colorado.
- Minimum 2 years of high-volume intraoperative CVOR RN experience.
- Demonstrated ability to scrub and circulate CVOR procedures.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Current flu vaccination; exemptions are not accepted.

CVOR RN needed in Colorado for a specialized Hybrid Cath Lab, requiring 2+ years of high-volume intraoperative CVOR experience, the ability to scrub and circulate, an active Colorado or valid compact RN license, AHA BLS/ACLS, and a current flu vaccine with no exemptions.
