Job Details
- Shift: Day shift, 4×10 hours
- Schedule: 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: Not specified
- Contract Duration: 91 weeks listed — confirm, as this is unusually long for a travel assignment
- Minimum Experience: 1 year of CVOR experience
- Orientation: 40 hours
- Scheduling: Block scheduling
- Call: Required, approximately 14 call assignments per month, including weekend call
- Floating: Vascular and General OR
- Pre-Approved RTO: 2 days

- Local Restriction: Candidates living within 70 miles are considered local and are not accepted
Required Certifications
- ACLS
- BLS
Additional certifications listed with an asterisk:
- TNCC
- CNOR

Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum 1 year of cardiovascular operating room experience
- Epic charting experience required
- CVOR and cardiovascular surgery experience
- Ability to scrub cardiovascular procedures
- Experience with cardiac and vascular surgical equipment
- Experience administering blood and blood products
- Infection control, fire safety, radiation safety and universal protocol
- Specimen handling and labeling
- Starting peripheral IVs and urinary catheterization
- Wound management
Preferred:
- Level I or Level II trauma experience
- Previous charge experience
