CVOR Registered Nurse (RN)
Join our dynamic team as a CVOR Registered Nurse, where you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care in a critical environment. This position requires immediate availability and is structured for long-term commitment. Below are the essential details regarding this opportunity:
Job Details
- Shift: 4x10 hours (06:15 - 16:45)
- Call: Required 2 days a week and every 3rd weekend
- Float: As needed to the OR
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Visits per Day: 6 (3 rooms)
Responsibilities
- Participate in assigned Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team duties.
- Respond to work requirements during catastrophic events, mass casualties, or disasters.
- Adapt to possible mid-contract consolidation and reassignment to units as needed.
Experience and Certification Requirements
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- CVOR experience mandatory
- Experience with ECMO and Impella systems required
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
- First-time travelers accepted, provided they meet experience requirements
Unit Systems
- Medication: PYXIS
- Documentation: EPIC
- Communication: SBAR
Orientation
A 24-hour orientation will be provided based on the traveler's experience and familiarity with the unit.
