Job Summary
Operating Room Open Heart. Performs independent and delegated nursing functions in accordance with accepted practice standards and applicable nursing regulations. The role assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care; provides health teaching, counseling, therapy, and treatment; monitors patient status; and documents care according to regulatory guidelines.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA); Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited school of nursing; minimum of one year of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as a Registered Nurse; Bachelors degree in Nursing.
- Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include ongoing health assessment, nursing care, health teaching and counseling, supportive and restorative therapy, treatment plan monitoring, delegated medical functions, patient referrals, and nursing documentation. The position may require on-call availability during a regularly scheduled shift and performance of other duties as assigned.
