Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Care Unit
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) to provide high-quality care to patients with cardiac conditions. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care experience and a commitment to delivering excellent patient outcomes.
General Information
- Unit Name: CCU
- Number of Beds: 32
- Patient Ratios: 2:1
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Available Staffing: Student nurse externs as techs and unit secretary available during weekdays
- Scheduling: 4-week schedules with weekend shifts required
- Floating Policy: Float as needed based on unit census
Qualifications
- Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years of cardiac experience
- Advanced Skills: PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring, IABP, Impella, and CRRT preferred
- Procedures Performed: Central line insertion, Swan-Ganz catheter insertion, intubations
- Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS
Dress Code
Standard scrubs are required (colors: galaxy blue, red, or black). Scrub jackets or vests are allowed.
