Job Summary
ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Cardiovascular Nurse, located at an organizations healthcare facility, is responsible for providing specialized care to adult patients experiencing critical cardiovascular conditions. This role involves managing complex patient needs in a fast-paced ICU environment, with a focus on intra-aortic balloon pump support and other advanced interventions.
Job Details
- Orientation dates: 11/2, 11/9, 11/16 only.
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.) with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Tennessee license or compact license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIH (National Institute of Health) certification, a minimum of 2 years of experience with prior travel experience, and experience with intra-aortic balloon pump.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in ICU settings handling adult patients, experience with electronic medical records, and familiarity with Cerner system.
- Responsibilities include caring for patients with ARDS, pneumonia, withdrawal, and cardiogenic shock. The unit has a patient population of 18+ years, with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1-2.
- The position involves floating to Stepdown or Emergency Room as needed.
- Schedule starts on 11/16/2026 and concludes on 02/13/2027.
- No float required.
