Job Details:

• Provide shift accountability for delivering care to Emergency Room patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for safe delivery of patient care in the Emergency Department
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Must be willing to float to Tele/LTAC depending on census
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience in a hospital setting required
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS (must be through the American Heart Association)
• Texas RN or multi-state compact license required
