RN Case Manager Unit Summary
Required Skills
- Case Management experience
- Experience using Midas and InterQual
- Licensed Master’s degree
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of local area resources
- NATE
Typical Responsibilities
- Interview patients and families face-to-face
- Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds (MDRs) on each unit
- Complete InterQual reviews for every patient
- Conduct observation reviews and DPEs
- Coordinate discharge planning
Preferred Personality
- Personable and able to work well with anyone
- Confident and comfortable communicating with others
Floating Areas
- Entire hospital, including Women & Children’s (W&CH) and Emergency Department (ED)
Dress Code
- Caribbean blue scrubs with a white jacket
Unit Guidelines
- Follows hospital guidelines and policies
Weekend Requirements
- Rotating weekends, Saturday and Sunday
- Shift: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- No on-call required
