**Exciting Opportunity for Acute RN: Rehab at Ottumwa Regional Health Center!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Acute Registered Nurse (RN) - **Department:** Acute Rehabilitation - **Shift:** Days (7A-7P) - **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36 or 48 (please specify preference upon submission) - **Patient Population:** Primarily Adults and Geriatric - **Number of Openings:** 1 - **Patient Ratios:** 1 RN to 6 patients - **Number of Beds:** 13 - **Weekend Hours:** Every other weekend - **Float Requirements:** MedSurg as needed **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver top-notch nursing care to adult patients in an inpatient rehab setting. - Collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure individualized, seamless care for all patients. - Engage in treatments for common diagnoses including neuro, trauma, burn, gait training/strengthening, and wound vac management. **Minimum Requirements:** - **Years of Experience:** 1-2 years of Acute Care experience required. - **Required Certifications:** BLS (Basic Life Support). - **Onboarding Requirements:** - Must have Iowa SING BG (Criminal and Child Abuse checks). - Comprehensive background checks are mandatory (no instant or statewide searches). - Mandatory reporter certification (Child and Adult). - 10-panel drug test (including opiates) required. - Recent titers (within the last 12 months) for MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB. **Preferred Skills:** - Experience in travel nursing is a plus but not required. - MedSurg or LTAC experience accepted. **Working Environment:** - Modern facilities equipped with lift equipment. - Electronic Health Records (EHR) managed via Meditech. - Supportive supervisory staff led by Carol Storto. **Dress Code:** - Scrubs required (specific color to be determined). - No unacceptable attire allowed. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
