RN Med-Surg – Trauma
- Hours: 36/48 hrs per week
- Experience: 5 years required; Level I Trauma experience
- Start: 3–4 weeks, based on compliance
- Ratio: 1:4–6
- Certs: BLS, ACLS
- Schedule: Every other weekend; no call; floating required
- License: Pending license accepted
- Locals: Not accepted within 75 miles
- RTO: Maximum 7 days per 13-week contract
- Guaranteed Hours: Yes
- Required: Pass Relias EKG exam; dysrhythmia interpretation/management, Med-Surg, IV starts, blood products, phlebotomy, insulin/PCA, trauma/TBI/spinal injuries, ortho, drains/chest tubes, respiratory support, wound care/vacs.
- Patient Population: Geriatric trauma (55+), falls, MVA/MVC, abuse/violence, and acute care surgery.
- Equipment: Lifts, restraints, traction, external fixators, wound vacs.
