Job Requirements
- Active Illinois RN license in hand
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- At least 1 year of recent registered nurse experience preferred
- Telemetry nursing or intermediate care experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts on a regular schedule
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care environment
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for telemetry and intermediate care patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize changes in patient status
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver safe, high-quality nursing care
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately
- Support patient education and promote positive outcomes throughout the shift
