- Shift: Days, 3x12s (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM)
- Experience: 2+ years required
- Patient Ratio: Typically 1:4, may range from 1:4 to 1:6
- Charting: Epic required
- Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Floating: Required between Progress West and St. Peters, including MS and ICU assignments appropriate to skill level
Required Certifications
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS
Required Experience and Skills
- Telemetry and cardiac monitoring
- Stroke care, including post-thrombectomy care after 24 hours
- Post-cardiac catheterization care
- PCU/stepdown experience or telemetry experience caring for stroke patients
- Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
Cardiac drips, heparin protocols, and respiratory care
