Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Tacoma, Washington.
Job Description & Requirements

- Employment Type: Travel
- Experience: Minimum 2 years acute care experience.
- Certification: BLS.
- Charting: EPIC.
- Clinical Skills: Med-Surg, Telemetry, cardiac monitoring, and drip titration.
- Drips: Insulin, Heparin, Nitro, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Cardizem.
- Patient Ratio: 1:4–5.
- Floating: Required across all Med-Surg/Telemetry units and Region Two facilities.
- License: Required to submit; facility willing to wait.
- Restrictions: Cannot have worked full-time, part-time, or PRN at any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year.
Unit Details: - 6 Med-Surg units with 17–41 beds each. - Surgical, General Medical, Cardiac, Neuro, Orthopedic, and Oncology specialties. - CPAP, BiPAP, and trach patients. - Telemetry monitored remotely; RNs verify readings. - 4 hours of orientation on each primary Med-Surg unit
