Contract | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Holiday rotation required | Every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/PCU setting with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Rotate holiday and every-other-weekend shifts in alignment with unit scheduling expectations
- Float within scope to meet facility needs, consistent with expectations held for staff nurses (agency staff may float first)
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
- Participate in emergency response team assignments as required during hurricane season (June–November)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of ICU and/or Stepdown experience required
- Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NIHSS certification preferred
- First-time travelers with prior ICU and/or Stepdown experience will be considered
